Prayer

...do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Philippians 4:6

We aim to be a church where God is central, and prayer is an integral part of all we do. Across the history of our church prayer has increasingly become more of a focus - because knowing God is central to our very existence, and we are absolutely dependent on Him.
Prayer 120 Team – We have a team of 50 – 100 people who commit to praying each week on their own for the people of our church. Prayer requests and praises are submitted by those attending our weekend services. These are typed and sent out to our Prayer 120 Team members each Monday.
Prayer for the Persecuted - Every second Sunday we come together to pray for the persecuted for Christ and His gospel. Rick Elzinga will be leading this prayer at 6:00pm over Zoom. For more information or for a link to the Zoom meeting, please contact the Church Office.
Elders’ Prayer Ministry – Our Elder team meets regularly and spends time praying for our church and the needs in our church family. They are available to pray for and anoint the sick (James 5:14)
Missions Focused Prayer - The first Sunday of each month is focused on praying for missions. Join us in the Upper Lobby at 5:30pm as we pray for missions and missionaries around the world. Prayer is the most important thing in missions. In order to have an eternal impact on our community and world, we need to be on our knees for those serving God and sharing His message of eternal life with those who do not know Him.
