Need Prayer?

There are so many painful experiences in life.  There can be death of a spouse, parent, or friend.  There can be broken relationships and we are hurting deeply because of the pain. Psalm 23 encourages us that we are not alone: "Even though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear not evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me."  Hard times will come; we all will walk through dark valleys.  We would love to pray with you whatever you may be facing.
No matter what is going on in your life, it is important to know a few things.  God is for you.  His heart breaks for the pain that may be going on. Even when you feel far away, He wants you to know that you are desperately loved by Him. Prayer is an open communication with God.  Reach out to him in prayer, but we also would love to join you in prayer.  Let us know how we can pray for you!

Why is a Prayer so important?

Through prayer, we acknowledge our need for God. He is our perfect Father, and He loves to hear from us, His children. He wants us to be persistent and humble in our prayers. Prayer also helps us to hear from Him, He tells us to pray "in the Spirit", praying about things that He prompts us to care about.
Prayer is a key tool in the Spiritual battle that is happening all around us, but that we can't see with our eyes. Through prayer we seek God's protection from evil forces (fallen angels) that want to keep us from the freedom and peace we have in Jesus.
"Oftentimes when we come to God in prayer, we do not feel like praying. What shall one do in such a case? Cease praying until he does feel like it? Not at all. When we feel least like praying is the time when we most need to pray."  R.A. Torrey
We have various support groups that are designed to help you and many others who are struggling after divorce or separation (Divorce Care), Death of a loved on (Grief Share), or with Addiction Recovery (Pathway to Freedom).  Know that you are not alone, and we would love to come alongside you and others who are going through something similar.
