"When a stranger sojourns with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. You shall treat the stranger who sojourns with you as the native among you, and you shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God."
Leviticus 19:33-34

Showing hospitality for those in a new land!

Join with a local ministry that brings lasting hope to refugees and immigrants in Southwest Portland. They serve a diverse immigrant population through education, counseling, vocational services, ESL, drivers' education, tutoring, and citizenship classes!

Some current specific needs are for women who can serve in hospitality (3 hours in the morning, 9:15AM-12:15PM), Preschool teachers and assistants (9:15AM-12:30PM), and even for online teaching (11AM-12PM). There are many other opportunities, but ultimately if you have a heart for loving others with the Gospel of Christ by welcoming people who are searching for help, we would love to discuss how you could be involved.

Due to the sensitivity of the people, they work with, please contact Pastor Mitch at mitch@southwesthills.org or fill out the form below for how you can plug into this exciting ministry!
