Why is a Divorce Care community so important?

"I commonly hear that God hates divorce, does that mean God hates me now?"  NO, it does not!  The Bible speaks that God does hate sin, and that every single person that ever has and ever will walk the earth have sinned (Rom 3:23). But the great news is that God demonstrates his love that even while we were sinners, while we were enemies of God, he died for us (Rom 5:8).  God loves you unconditionally and he understands feeling betrayed and rejected, because he himself was rejected and betrayed.
Many people beat themselves up after divorce when really they need healing! There is hurt that comes from a divorce regardless of the causes or reasons.  We are here to help you heal and find hope moving forward.
"Divorce is not an unforgivable sin. As painful as divorce is for all involved and as heartbreaking as divorce is for those who face it without wanting it, God can touch broken hearts and lives and make them whole again" (Tim Clinton, Marriage and Family Counseling)
Divorce often brings about feelings of denial, guilt, embarrassment, loneliness, rejection, fear, and anger. Regardless of what you are feeling, you are not alone in them.  Join others who are pursuing healing just like you are.
All human relationships will at some times fail to fulfill us because there is only one who can fulfill and save.  Listen to God as he speaks life into your pain and gives you a peace that surpasses understanding (Phil 4:6).
